Tips for getting to California on the cheap
- Subscribe to the Travelzoo Top 20 weekly newsletter to get a round-up of travel deals, with frequent cheap fares to the Bay Area
- Use Farecast to find out if fares are getting more or less expensive on your travel days
- Find flights on Hipmunk because it’s the easiest and most straight-forward website for flights
- Check Southwest.com, JetBlue.com and VirginAmerica.com for sales on flights to the Bay Area (and because other travel sites don’t always show their fares)
